A Bark Above Dog Training and Behaviour
At A Bark Above, everything we do is guided by kindness, understanding and a deep respect for dogs and the families who love them. Led by the Coast’s only Certified Canine Behaviour Consultant, Cert IV qualified Animal Trainer, Fear Free Certified Professional and Family Dog Mediator, our work is grounded in ethical, science-based training and years of hands-on experience supporting dogs through every stage of life.

Every session is thoughtfully tailored to your dog, your home and your goals. We take the time to understand the whole picture so that the support you receive truly fits your family. Our goal is to help you better understand your dog, build connection together and create lasting change that sets your whole family up to thrive. Because our approach isn’t just about teaching cues, it’s about strengthening the bond between you and your dog for years to come!

This intake form is designed to give us a meaningful starting base before we meet. Your answers help us understand your dog’s history, environment, routines, emotions, and current challenges, so we can step into your session already informed and ready to support not just your dog, but you as well.

There are no right or wrong answers here. The more honest and detailed you can be, the more accurately we can tailor your guidance, training strategies, and support plan! Think of this as the first chapter in your dog’s journey with us, a chance to paint the bigger picture so we can build thoughtful, realistic, Fear Free solutions together.

If you’re unsure on any question, simply answer as best you can. We’ll always refine and explore things further during your session.
