Welcome to A Bark Above!
You’re about to begin a training journey designed to help you build real connection, confidence, and communication with your dog. Before we get started on our 5 week learning journey, please read through the important information below to ensure everything runs smoothly.
If you have any questions at all, feel free to reach out. we’re always happy to help!
What to expect in your first class: We kick things off with a puppy-free first class designed just for you. This session sets the tone for the rest of your training journey, giving you practical tools, insights, and a clear understanding of what’s ahead. It’s all about setting you and your puppy up for success from the very start!
Where to Find Us: 65 Von Bibras Road, Ulverstone
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes early for your class. This helps keep the learning environment calm, allows dogs from previous sessions to exit safely, and gives us time to reset for your group.
Outdoor Classes & Weather Prep: Tasmanian weather likes to keep us guessing and with our style of indoor and outdoor classes, be sure to wear weather appropriate clothing and we highly suggest dark coloured clothes (pups + outdoor paddocks = guaranteed fun) and best to bring a towel for any chance of muddy paws!
Poo Patrol: Let’s keep our training spaces clean and safe for everyone! You’ll find waste buckets on the fences in both yards. If your dog toilets, please pick it up or give one of our trainers a shout, we’re happy to help!
We’re so looking forward to welcoming you and your pup into our training family. Thank you for choosing A Bark Above, where we’re all about building lasting bonds, not just behaviours with a paw in the right direction!
Once your form lands in our inbox, we'll be in touch to confirm your class details and organise payment. As our puppy programs fill quickly with at times, a 6 week wait, payment is required within 24 hours of confirmation to secure your place. If payment isn't received within this timeframe, the position may be offered to another puppy waiting to join the adventure without notice.
See you soon, Isabella & The A Bark Above Team.

Safety, Space & Respect
- Puppies must remain on lead at all times.
- Please maintain appropriate spacing between puppies to support nervous learners and reduce over-arousal.
- Children are welcome and encouraged to attend. Children must remain under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian at all times. To create a calm, focused learning space for everyone, we kindly ask that families bring an extra support person for children where possible, helping you stay present with your puppy.
- As this is a working property with animals and vehicle movement, children must not climb on fences, gates, or equipment in Fly’s Fun Park.
Late Arrivals: Late arrivals can disrupt settling and learning. If you arrive late, you may be asked to wait for a suitable break before joining the session.
Unable to Attend: If you are unable to attend a class, please notify us as soon as possible. Homework sheets and learning resources will be emailed where appropriate.
