Class will cover concepts of consent and cooperation, the use of scratch boards, and steps towards cooperative nails trims. This class focuses on the skills needed for a calm, well-mannered dog in public patio settings such as breweries, cafés, and restaurants. Handlers will learn techniques for polite greetings, settling at a table, ignoring food and other distractions, and navigating tight spaces. Ideal for dogs who have completed a basic manners class and are ready to practice in real-world environments.
Celebrate Pit Bull Awareness Month with Us! Join us for a special 5-week training class designed just for pit bulls and pit bull-type dogs! This course focuses on building solid obedience skills, boosting confidence, and creating positive associations through enrichment and education.
Led by certified positive reinforcement trainers, this class offers a welcoming, judgment-free space to practice essential skills like sit, stay, loose leash walking, recall, polite greetings, and more. We’ll also explore ways to be a strong advocate and positive ambassador for your dog, challenge breed myths, and connect with other local pit bull lovers.

Dogs & Toddlers™ is a perfect program for families with dogs and babies who are soon to be crawling or walking. As babies grow, our dogs may begin to show some discomfort with the new developmental changes of the baby. This 2-hour workshop offers information and proactive options to help address common challenges families may face. (3m-3y).
To help you focus and get the most out of the session, child supervision will be provided in the Romper Room while parents receive the information.
This workshop, sponsored by the Ripon Public Library, is for HUMANS ONLY and is open to everyone.
