Throughout this course, you and your dog will learn all the skills and behaviors needed to provide comfort, support, and joy in hospitals, schools, nursing homes, and community settings. Our experienced trainers will guide you step-by-step through every aspect of therapy dog work — from building confidence and focus to mastering calm, friendly interactions in a variety of environments. This program includes full preparation for all Canine Good Citizen (CGC) titles: CGC CGCA (Community Canine) CGCU (Urban Canine) Upon successfully completing the 10-week class, passing the required evaluations, and completing two supervised therapy visits with our certified trainer, your dog will officially become a Certified Therapy Dog through Partners with Paws. Whether your goal is to visit hospitals, comfort students, or volunteer in community programs, this class provides everything you need to make a positive difference — together.
