Not only will we provide your dog with an oasis for play, we will provide structured training time! You'll receive a report card at the end of your pup's stay which details their behaviors and progress. Each day is approximately 8 hours with pick-up and drop-off at Bob's Valley Market or Centennial Park.
Is your dog nervous in a grooming facility? Did you recently get a puppy who needs grooming visits? We have partnered with Barking Mad Grooming to offer Grooming Desensitization Visits. During your dog's visit, we will work to make the grooming facility a positive environment! $35.

Welcome to the newly reimagined Joyful Foundations Puppy Class —a dynamic and engaging class designed specifically for young puppies during their most critical learning stage. This class sets the stage for a lifetime of good behavior, confidence, and connection.

Basic obedience foundations
Safe, thoughtful socialization with people, puppies, sounds, and environments
Our goal is to help you and your puppy build strong communication and trust—while having a ton of fun along the way.

Our version of a "pack walk", this outing provides a safe context for socialization and exposure. We will meet at local areas to go on a group walk with training undertones. Dog-dog interactions are prohibited. Dates Vary. Helena location.
Loose Leash Walking & Polite Greetings - Bigfork Only $40.00
Loose leash walking and polite greetings are both vital manners for a dog to have. Loose leash walking teaches a dog good walking habits, rather than having them pull on their leash. Polite greetings works on impulse control when greeting other people, dogs, or animals. $40/ dog - location to be announced before class.
Paddleboarding has huge benefits for both people and dogs! Come teach your dog how to paddleboard. They'll learn how to relax on the board, board and deboard, and build their confidence. Meet us at Clark's Bay Recreation Area with a paddleboard and your dog. It does cost $5 to park. Plus, we have a wonderful new partnership with Lemonade Ladies Baking Co. for some amazing treats!
This class will be hosted by Scenic Brew in Helena. Bark 4 Joy's Patio Pup classes prepare owners for outdoor restaurants with their dogs. It can be difficult to navigate tight areas, ensure your dog ignores food, and feel comfortable knowing your dog won't launch to greet a person or another dog. This class is $225 and will include 1-16 ounce drink and 1 pastry each class. We do require your dog to be dog friendly and relatively calm to participate in this class. Collect passport stamps with us as we "travel the world" throughout the Helena area. Your pup will become a Park Explorer, enjoy a Sidewalk Safari, join the Adventure Tail Trotters, and more! Our focus on this class will include polite greetings, basic manners, relaxation/settling, recall, loose leash walking, etc. This class is the second in our puppy series. Pup must have completed the Joyful Foundations Puppy Class prior to enrollment or receive trainer approval. This class is designed for puppies ages 10 weeks to 16 weeks.
The classic "Reactive Rover" class for dogs overly excited, fearful, or unsure around other dogs. This class has a smaller roster (4 or less dogs) for a more intimate setting. You'll find yourself working on counter conditioning techniques, introducing decompression activities, and working to calm your dog in an otherwise overwhelming environment.
While most rattlesnake dog training courses involve the utilization of an e-collar, we do NOT! This course will utilize reward-based training methods to teach your dog how to avoid rattlesnakes while ensuring your relationship with your dog stays intact. Helena location.
Come work through different sections of socialization to create a well-rounded puppy. This class will introduce your dog to a variety of stimuli and teach handlers how to appropriately introduce new things.
Secure your spot for a paw-some session packed with socialization in a different contexts! We will be training with novel flooring and surfaces, mini obstacles, as well as grooming sounds and sensations to help build up confidence in your playful pups! 💞🐕

This beginner-friendly class is perfect for dogs who are ready to take their training beyond the backyard. Whether you’re dreaming of off-leash freedom or just want calmer, safer walks in nature, we’ll help set you and your dog up for success on the trail. We will cover foundation recall, long line handling, and an emergency stop command.

Requirements: Dogs must be comfortable working near other dogs on leash. This class may not be suitable for reactive dogs. 16 weeks and older.
Gear: 6-ft leash (no flexi-leashes), harness, long line (10-30 feet), treat pouch with variety of high-value treats
This is a great next step for dogs who have completed Tails and Trails 1 or who have a solid training foundation and want to level up their trail manners and reliability.
Location: Various local trails (schedule and directions provided after registration)
Requirements: Completion of Hiking & Recall 1 or instructor approval. Dogs must be comfortable hiking near other dogs on leash.
Gear: Long line, harness, 6-ft leash, water for you and your dog, and plenty of tasty treats.

This service is more involved than our victory visits as we will aim to desensitize your dog to normal handling done in a veterinary setting. Things such as eyes, ears, mouth, and the paws will be worked on during your dog's visit. For a half hour, we will get you and your pup feeling more confident when you enter the vet treatment room! $35.
Victory Visits have anecdotally shown to help reduce stress in dogs over time. We are offering 15 minute slots for you and your dog to come into the vet clinic and have a positive experience where no medical care occurs. $20.
15 minute (or less) phone call to briefly discuss any issues that you would like training assistance on. We will chat about our training programs and what we can do to help you, your family, and your dog(s) live a more successful and less stressful life.
This call includes everything EXCEPT behavioral issues and service dog information.
