Book a virtual behavior evaluation with Helena's only Certified Dog Behavior Consultant (CDBC). Our behavior consultant is able to more deeply analyze why behaviors occur, work closely alongside veterinarians, and address complex behaviors such as anxiety, reactivity, and aggression. This evaluation will be 45-60 minutes and allows us to discuss a dog's history, behavior concerns, triggers, and daily routine. The behavior consultant will help you better understand why behaviors are occurring and prepare a training plan for you. Please note, this is not a comprehensive training plan, and it should not replace working with a behavior consultant or trainer, especially for more severe behaviors.
A comprehensive evaluation designed to assess a dog’s behavior, identify potential risk factors, and provide practical recommendations for management, treatment, and next steps. The evaluation includes a 45–75 minute consultation, review of relevant behavioral history, professional risk assessment, and a written report summarizing findings and recommendations. When appropriate, recommendations may include behavior modification, veterinary referral, specialized management, rehoming, surrender, or other placement options.
Dogs are not always great at recognizing where their body is, which sometimes can result in chaos! This class will help your dog learn to recognize where their paws and butt are as well as build great proprioception and confidence. Through the use of different surfaces and tools, your dog will be prepared to navigate small areas, orient with your body, or even start agility. $40/dog. Location will be announced prior to the start of the class.
