Class is a sanitized and safe environment so you can start your puppy off on the right paw during this critical learning time.
Smart Start Preschool is the recommended starting point for any puppy 16 weeks of age of younger at the start of classes.

For graduates of Team Builders 1. Build on the skills you learned in TB 1 in various environments. Proof focus around distractions in the real world! Classes will be held at local parks, around town, or in pet-friendly businesses. Please note this is a field trip class that may require meeting in different locations around Trail or possibly Castlegar. These are DROP IN workshop style sessions.

Training - GROUP CLASS - Group Walk or Hike (Reactive Dogs Welcome) - $20 +tax $20.00

Community Pack Walks are open to anyone to attend! You do not need to be a current client with us. You are welcome to come and work on your dog's leash walking skills and focus skills with us. First time attendees must fill out the form and waiver and supply up to date record of vaccinations for their dogs.
Reactive dogs are welcome! Aggressive dogs must be muzzled.
You are welcome to attend with your dog with behaviour issues PROVIDED you follow the rules (dog must be on leash at all times, with suitable equipment and no more than a 10' leash, you must provide other teams with 10-15' of space minimum unless otherwise directed).
Please join us if you are working on your handling skills and confidence with your dog. You must have an understanding of your dog's body language, triggers and threshold to attend. If you do not, please contact us about private sessions :)

Training - GROUP CLASS - Sniff Happens - Beginner - Intro to Scent Work $154.99
NO PRE-REQUISITES - For dogs brand new to scent games.
In this class we teach dogs the game of scent detection using food treats.
The goal is the dog learns that hunting in fun! We work to build confidence, drive and independence in searching through various exercises and games.
This class is indoors. All dogs take turns working. No requirements as far as age, experience or training skills. Dogs must not be aggressive to humans.
