Level 1 is for dogs who have done some herding but need to polish up cues or impulse control, or for those who have started flatwork and want to proceed to the next level.
This class will focus on working the cues with more distraction. We'll practice with toys and then livestock in a reverse round pen. Cues practiced: loose leash walk, wait at gate, walk up, lie down (stop), out (move off pressure). Dogs may potentially start working on flank/directional cues at the reverse round pen depending on team progress.
