Structured leash walking and engagement
Sit/down stays with distractions
Reliable name response and recall foundations
Confidence-building with novel environments and obstacles
Neutrality around other dogs and people
Continued use of marker training: “YES,” “GOOD,” and “NO”
Addressing the early adolescent “selective hearing” phase
Requirements:
Puppies must be between 4 and 12 months old
Up-to-date vaccinations appropriate to their age
Completion of Puppy Masters or equivalent recommended

Intro to Nose Work |4 classes | 1 class per week

Scent Detection Level 1 introduces dogs and handlers to the foundational skills of nose work, whether for fun, enrichment, or future competition. This class focuses on building hunt drive, odor pairing, and clear indication behaviors through positive reinforcement and confidence-building exercises.
Perfect for high-energy dogs, scent-driven breeds, or anyone looking to tap into their dog’s brain and instincts in a rewarding way.
What we cover:
Building search drive and focus
Intro to paired odor (food + target scent)
Marker use and reward timing for successful indications
Confidence-building with novel environments, containers, and setups
You will receive a scent practice kit
Requirements:
