Puppy PHD is for growing pups who are ready to build on their foundation with more focus, structure, and reliability. This class bridges the gap between puppy silliness and real-world obedience, with age appropriate challenges that develop maturity, impulse control, and deeper handler engagement. Think of it as “middle school with manners” still fun, but with way more brain power.
What we cover: Structured leash walking and engagement, Sit/down with distractions, Reliable name response, and recall foundations, Confidence-building, Neutrality around other dogs and people, Addressing the early adolescent “selective hearing” phase.
Requirements: Puppies must be between 4 and 12 months old Up-to-date vaccinations appropriate to their age Completion of Puppy Masters or equivalent recommended.
This stage is crucial — let's shape a focused, confident, and well-mannered young dog together.
