Completion of at least one General Manners class required before registering for this intermediate class. This class will help you work on any of the 10 skills required to pass the AKC's Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test, designed to help your dog become a well-mannered, confident, companion. If you are interested in testing for the AKC title, your trainer can help you decide when your dog is ready and help you schedule the test. Whether your goal is to test for the official certification or to simply have a dog with stellar public skills this class will help teach your dog the tools they need! Single day class. This is an intermediate class, dogs must have already mastered basic skills & completed at least one General Manners class to join. Open to dogs 6 months & older. Ready for some just-for-fun scent detection? This class is a fun beginner friendly introduction to scent detection! We will start out by teaching your pup to find food hidden in boxes, and hiding the boxes throughout our facility. As the class progresses, we will teach them how to seek out a hidden tin scented with essential oils. Each week we will build on increasing the challenges of finding the scent as well as working on teaching our dogs a “signal” to show us they have found the scent.
This class is designed to be a fun way to build a bond between you and your dog and give your pup great enrichment! We will always move at your dog’s pace and make sure everyone is having a great time as we progress!

This is a foundational class designed to help you and your puppy grow together through relationship-based training, positive socialization, and a deeper understanding of canine needs and communication. Each class, we’ll cover key topics to guide you through your puppy's critical developmental windows. Topics include species-specific needs, house hold manners, managing jumping & mouthing, reading body language & cooperative handling, focused attention work, and basic cues such as sit, down, and coming when called.
Puppies should be between 8 & 18 weeks old and have received their first round of vaccinations.
