POSITIVE BOARD & TRAIN
We understand life and its challenges — between work, school, kids, homework, family, friends, and other commitments, it’s hard to find time to learn to train a puppy. Our certified, experienced trainer will help you make the best of your puppy’s critical learning time and spend dedicated time with your puppy to get the training results for you in a fraction of the time and will provide continued help and support for stronger, lasting results.
You wouldn’t hire a lawyer to learn to argue your case and neither would you hire a mechanic to learn to fix your car’s engine. Why hire a trainer to learn how to train your puppy? Leave it to a certified professional to assist you in achieving your doggie goals, while you focus on other critical things in your life.
We only do Board & Train for a limited number of dogs at a time to ensure that your puppy gets individualized care and attention, multiple training sessions and field trips in a day combined with adequate playtime. Our Positive Puppy Board & Train program is designed to focus on puppy-appropriate socialization, problem prevention, grooming, handling, and of course, foundational manners. This involves multiple training sessions, field trips in a day combined with adequate play time, individualized care and attention, and more.
Board & Train’s Signature Program is for 20 days but other customized plans are available
What makes your program different?
As always our methods are 100% force free and positive reinforcement based! Unlike other boarding and training programs out there, we will not put a shock collar on your dog, EVER! We get results by teaching your dog what you’d like them to do and make those things what your dog wants to do! So not only is your furry friend a well-behaved pup, but they are loving every minute of it! It’s a win-win!
Enrichment Dog Daycare, often referred to as Daycare 2.0, introduces a revolutionary approach to canine care. Unlike traditional daycare, enrichment daycare focuses on mental, physical, and emotional stimulation, ensuring a well-rounded experience for your dog. Here are some key distinctions between enrichment and traditional daycare:
Group Size: Enrichment Daycare opts for smaller groups, typically 5–10 dogs, allowing for more personalized attention and supervision.
Benefits: Enrichment activities are designed to reduce stress and anxiety, improve behavior, and strengthen the bond between the dog and its owner.
Mental Stimulation: Enrichment daycare provides a constant source of mental stimulation, including toys, fetch, obstacles, and new tricks to learn.
Ideally, your dog would play in one-on-one or very small group sessions with compatible play partners selected by a certified trainer who specializes in canine body language and behavior. Most dogs thrive on smaller or even one-on-one supervised play sessions. By being ultra-selective, a dog daycare facility should resemble a very well-balanced or private members-only club and hand-select dog play partners.

Adventure Walk is a group walk for those dog owners who would love to enjoy the dog-friendly world together more!
Adventure walks are a bit different than a typical walk to give your dog physical exercise. These walks are more about helping your puppy or dog focus on proactive exposure — creating neutral and positive associations with different people, places, and things.
The adventure walk is a relaxed exploration of different environments, seeing other people and animals from a distance, and an opportunity to start building very simple (but very important) training foundations.
We will be working on holding our dogs to the highest social standards as we traverse around the Huntington-Long Beach Area together and enjoy all this area has to offer for its dog-owning community!
This meet-up will be held at various spots. Be sure to check the location when signing up.
First Sunday of each month
Drop in- (included for students) $Free.
