Not sure where to start or which training program to book? Schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation. We will discuss some details about your dog's behavior and your expectations for training. From there, we'll decide which options are best for you and your dog. This is also available to those who would just like to chat with me personally before booking any training or pet care services.
Get started on the right foot with an in-home consultation. This service is designed to allow us to meet, evaluate your dog, discuss your training goals and create a personalized training plan to set you and your dog up for success. During this time, we will also practice foundational training exercises to best prepare you and your dog for our next steps. The consultation also includes a written training plan and enrichment guide.
An initial consultation is required for before scheduling other private lessons for dogs over 16 weeks, unless otherwise approved. A travel fee may apply.
Available in discounted packages. Each private lesson is 60 minutes and includes instruction, demonstration and hands-on training practice one-on-one with a qualified trainer. An initial consultation is recommended before booking private lessons.
As an approved AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen) evaluator, I am excited to offer a CGC training package and CGC testing. Canine Good Citizen is a 10-skill test that teaches responsible dog ownership and provides your dog with the framework to become a well-mannered dog in society. You and your dog will be rewarded with an AKC CGC title, ribbon and certificate from the AKC upon passing.
This package includes a discounted three private lessons that focuses on teaching and strengthening CGC skills and behaviors to prepare for the CGC test. The CGC test is included in the rate and will be given following the final lesson.
If more training is needed, additional lessons can be added following the package at a discounted rate of $80.
In-home or fieldtrip-style solo training sessions with a qualified trainer. Drop-in training sessions gives me the opportunity to work one-on-one with your dog at our pace in the comfort of their home, or in a dog friendly public space. Lesson plans are customizable to your goals, but a standard obedience syllabus covering focus and engagement, impulse control, sit, down, leash manners, coming when called, settle & relax and more is available if preferred.
Video progress reports, updates, text support and homework to continue practicing at home are included. Your preferred time will be matched as closely as possible in correspondence with my schedule. Available in discounted packages.
A dog walking service taken to the next level! Your dog will be walked with the added benefit of being trained by a certified trainer along the way. This service is excellent for enforcing good habits on walks and increasing engagement. We will focus on patiently preparing for the walk, door manners, leash manners and loose-leash walking, focus and attention, sitting before crossing the street and more. You will receive progress reports and any related instruction to practice at home. This service is available to reactive dogs, however, although reactivity will be managed, this service will not cover training for reactivity.
Single day school day. This service allows your dog to participate in our typical daycare and enrichment activities, but they will also be pulled for solo training sessions 3-4 times per day, or for a solo fieldtrip to train in a dog friendly public place. Excellent for extra enrichment during the day, to shape up their training skills, or learn new skills. Available in discounted package as a full program.
A 1 hour drop-in visit or dog walk. This service ranges from $35-40 depending on travel distance. *This calendar is largely isolated, meaning it does not block every conflict on my calendar in order to give you flexible booking options; your requested time will be matched as closely as possible in accordance with my schedule. Weekend bookings will accrue a $5 weekend charge.

Learn to manage your dog's reactivity in a safe, judgement-free environment. We will practice engagement skills, play group training games, learn to identify the signs, and use counterconditioning techniques to practice how to work through your dog's triggers appropriately. 6 week course beginning 3/19/2025 @5:30pm
This class takes us out on fun, urban adventures around the Lexington, KY area for plenty of opportunities for practical application of you and your dogs’ skills. This group class is great for testing and strengthening your dog’s manners in public as we navigate lively areas around the city. 4 week course beginning 3/24/2025 @5:30pm
Get your steps in! This is a “Street Smarts” style class, but in nature. Meet up with us for group walks through nature trails and hiking trails in Lexington and nearby areas. This is a great opportunity to practice practical training skills, learn trail etiquette while hiking with dogs, and socialize while enjoying scenic trails in central KY. 4 week course begins 3/29/2025 @11:00am.
Get the group class experience without a weekly commitment! Sign up for a single group training session to gather with a small group of like-minded owners to practice your desired training goals together with the guidance of a professional trainer. This is an excellent opportunity for socializing puppies, for reactive dogs practicing management, or extra training enrichment for all. Get together with a group of friends for a fun group training session! Held every other Friday, unless otherwise noted.
A 30 minute phone call to discuss your dog's behavior and your training goals and receive detailed training advice from a certified trainer. This service may be a good option for those who have some questions related to dog training and behavior or only need help with one or two smaller training concerns.
A virtual option for those interested in a consultation. This service is conducted over video call and will follow the same outline and instruction as an in-person consultation. This consultation lasts 90 minutes and includes a written training plan and enrichment outline.
