From there, we'll decide which options are best for you and your dog. This is also available to those who would just like to chat with me personally before booking any training or pet care services.
Get started on the right foot with an in-home consultation. This service is designed to allow us to meet, evaluate your dog, discuss your training goals and create a personalized training plan to set you and your dog up for success. During this time, we will also practice foundational training exercises to best prepare you and your dog for our next steps. The consultation also includes a written training plan and enrichment guide.
An initial consultation is required for before scheduling other private lessons for dogs over 16 weeks, unless otherwise approved. A travel fee may apply.
Available in discounted packages. Each private lesson is 60 minutes and includes instruction, demonstration and hands-on training practice one-on-one with a qualified trainer. An initial consultation is recommended before booking private lessons.
As an approved AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen) evaluator, I am excited to offer a CGC training package and CGC testing. Canine Good Citizen is a 10-skill test that teaches responsible dog ownership and provides your dog with the framework to become a well-mannered dog in society. You and your dog will be rewarded with an AKC CGC title, ribbon and certificate from the AKC upon passing.
This package includes a discounted three private lessons that focuses on teaching and strengthening CGC skills and behaviors to prepare for the CGC test. The CGC test is included in the rate and will be given following the final lesson.
If more training is needed, additional lessons can be added following the package at a discounted rate of $80.
In-home or fieldtrip-style solo training sessions with a qualified trainer. Drop-in training sessions gives me the opportunity to work one-on-one with your dog at our pace in the comfort of their home, or in a dog friendly public space. Lesson plans are customizable to your goals, but a standard obedience syllabus covering focus and engagement, impulse control, sit, down, leash manners, coming when called, settle & relax and more is available if preferred.
Video progress reports, updates, text support and homework to continue practicing at home are included. Your preferred time will be matched as closely as possible in correspondence with my schedule. Available in discounted packages.
A dog walking service taken to the next level! Your dog will be walked with the added benefit of being trained by a certified trainer along the way. This service is excellent for enforcing good habits on walks and increasing engagement. We will focus on patiently preparing for the walk, door manners, leash manners and loose-leash walking, focus and attention, sitting before crossing the street and more. You will receive progress reports and any related instruction to practice at home. This service is available to reactive dogs, however, although reactivity will be managed, this service will not cover training for reactivity.
A 1 hour drop-in visit or dog walk. This service ranges from $35-40 depending on travel distance. *This calendar is largely isolated, meaning it does not block every conflict on my calendar in order to give you flexible booking options; your requested time will be matched as closely as possible in accordance with my schedule. Weekend bookings will accrue a $5 weekend charge.

Practice your Canine Good Citizen skills in small, pop-up group classes! Currently, we are meeting at Shillito Park in Lexington every other Friday at noon for a 60 minute class to practice the 10 step CGC test criteria to set you and your dogs up for success on the test. Tests are given out at the end of each class for anyone who is ready. Please note- there must be at least 2 people registered for this class for it to be confirmed.
A virtual option for those interested in a consultation. This service is conducted over video call and will follow the same outline and instruction as an in-person consultation. This consultation lasts 90 minutes and includes a written training plan and enrichment outline.
