Using positive reinforcement and force-free methods, we focus on building understanding, confidence, and focus while keeping training fun for both ends of the leash. This class covers: Focus & Engagement; Teach your dog to pay attention to you, even with distractions present. Build reliable eye contact and attention that becomes the foundation for all future training. Positions (Sit, Down, Stand); Learn clear cues and smooth transitions between positions to improve responsiveness and body awareness. Stay & Wait; Develop patience and self-control as your dog learns to hold a position or wait calmly until released. Impulse Control; Help your dog make better choices, resist temptation, and remain calm around exciting stimuli like food, toys, or other dogs. Recall; Build a reliable recall through positive associations and fun exercises, ensuring your dog happily returns to you every time. Loose Leash Walking & Heel; Teach your dog to walk politely on leash without pulling, and introduce basic heel position. Polite Greetings; Practice calm and friendly interactions with people. Vet & Groomer Handling; Get your dog comfortable with being gently handled, touched, and examined to make vet visits and grooming experiences less stressful for everyone.
