This workshop will focus on teaching both dog, AND handler the mechanics of weave handling...This workshop will focus on teaching both dog, AND handler the mechanics of weave handling moves primarily the exits. We will focus on teaching or maintaining a “flip” out of the poles—that incredible “turn away” to get to a tunnel or jump leaving the handler on the original side of the weaves. Additionally, we will work on difficult exits with pressure on or off from the handler. We may use inline weaves and channels with guides will be used. This allows the dog to learn techniques while moving straight, eliminating the weave demand on their body.
