In-Person Private Training & Behavior Intervention $75.00
🐾 Private Training Sessions
For families wanting to focus on manners, life skills, or basic training goals. These one-on-one sessions are hands on, tailored to your dog and your home environment. I’ll demonstrate and coach you through exercises like loose leash walking, polite greetings, coming when called, and other everyday skills. Together we’ll build consistency, confidence, and clear communication between you and your dog.
Private sessions can also be a great alternative to group classes for dogs who may need a quieter, less distracting environment before they’re ready to join a group like those offered through Dog Stars or other traditional basic obedience groups classes.

🐾 Behavior Intervention Sessions
Sometimes dogs face challenges beyond basic training. Things like reactivity, fear, resource guarding, separation issues, or over-arousal. These behaviors can feel overwhelming, but they can improve with the right plan and support.
In these sessions, I’ll help you:
•Understand what your dog’s behavior is communicating.
•Break down big challenges into small, achievable steps.
•Teach your dog new, healthier skills to replace old habits.
•Practice together so you feel confident applying the strategies at home.
Behavior work is a process, not a one-time fix. My goal is to guide both you and your dog through gradual changes - building trust, social skills, and lasting habits so your dog learns to feel safe and thrive in your care.
Our first meeting is all about getting to know you and your dog. During this session, we'll discuss your training goals, review your dog's history, and outline a plan tailored to their needs. I'll also observe your dog's behaviors and help identify the function or "why" behind it. Every behavior has a reason. Whether it's to get attention, avoid something, or a meet a need. Our job is to do a little investigating, so we can address the root cause - not just the symptoms.
This session sets the foundation for a positive, effective training plan that supports both you and your dog moving forward.
this consultation is an in- person visit, which can be arranged either in your home or at my training location. (limited travel radius)
This option is great for families who prefer the comfort and convenience of meeting online. A virtual consultation allows us to discuss your goals, review your dog’s history, and create a training plan - all while your pup stays relaxed in their own environment.
Virtual sessions are especially helpful for:
•Dogs who struggle with new people entering their home 🐕
•Clients who live outside my travel range 🌎
•Busy families looking for time-saving options ⏰
•Situations where a dog may “shut down” or not show certain behaviors with an audience 👀
You’ll still receive the same personalized guidance and support, with the added flexibility of connecting from anywhere.
Celebrate the reopening of Charlotte’s Corner with a special community event!
These short, focused sessions are the perfect starting point for your dog’s training journey.

I’ll guide you through building foundation skills like loose leash walking, polite greetings, and recall, while coaching you step-by-step so you feel confident practicing with your dog. 🐾 Virtual Behavior Intervention Sessions
Behavior challenges don’t always require me to be in the room — often, the most important part is coaching you through the process. Virtual sessions can actually be less stressful for some dogs; removing an extra person from the environment often helps them focus and perform better until they’re ready for in-person work.
With years of experience working around behavior cases, I can still spot when adjustments or changes to the plan are needed, even through video. Together, we’ll:
Review your dog’s behavior and environment.
Break goals into clear, manageable steps.
Create a customized plan you can follow at home.
Practice techniques live on video with my feedback and support.
Virtual behavior work provides the same thoughtful, step-by-step guidance as in-person sessions, while giving your dog a calmer and more flexible learning environment.
🐾✨ Behavior 101: Understanding Your Dog (Virtual 4-Part Series) $20.00
Ever wonder why your dog keeps doing the same things, even when you’ve tried to correct it? Or why training sometimes feels like two steps forward, one step back?
This virtual series will give you the tools to help make sense of your dog’s behavior. Over four sessions, we’ll break down the science in plain English and give you a practical framework you can use every single day.
What We’ll Cover:
1️⃣ Understanding the Function of Behavior
Why every behavior serves a purpose and how to identify what your dog is really trying to get.
2️⃣ Why Behaviors Stick
The science behind stubborn habits → bell curve, extinction bursts (“tantrum phase”), and spontaneous recovery (“relapse moments”).
3️⃣ Prevent–Teach–Reinforce (PTR)
A simple 3-step roadmap for changing behavior: prevent rehearsal, teach a replacement, and reinforce the good stuff.
4️⃣ Real-Life Application
Case studies (jumping, barking, reactivity) and how to apply PTR step-by-step at home.
