Reactivity Rehab 6 Week Private Training Program $1,200.00
Our Reactivity Rehab program is designed to help dogs overcome their reactive behaviours with the guidance of a professional dog trainer. The program is 6 lessons long and is focused on building communication and relationship between the dog and the owner while addressing reactivity issues directly.
In addition to the training sessions, the program includes a mini-educator remote collar valued at $380 from E-Collar Technologies. This collar is an effective tool for reactivity training and will be used during the program under the guidance of the trainer.
Our goal is to identify the underlying root cause of the reactivity and work towards changing the emotional response to the trigger. We believe that addressing the root cause of the behavior is critical for long-term success.
The program will cover a range of topics including leash handling, obedience training, and socialization. We will work closely with you and your dog to ensure that the training is tailored to your specific needs and goals.
By the end of the program, we aim to help your dog overcome their reactive behaviours and build a stronger bond between you and your furry friend. We strive to make the training experience as enjoyable as possible for both you and your dog, so you can continue to build your bond through the rehabilitation process.

Is your dog more interested in everything else at the park than you? This session is all about becoming the most interesting thing in your dog's world. You'll learn how to get and hold your dog's attention outdoors, use play as a training tool, and build focus that lasts — even with distractions. Great for dogs who tend to check out on walks or ignore you when something more exciting shows up.

Real World Ready | Greeting People Politely $50.00
Does your dog jump, pull, or completely lose it when they see a new person? This session teaches your dog to greet people calmly with four paws on the floor. You'll practice with real volunteers approaching your dog so you can work through the excitement in a controlled setting. You'll also learn what to do when well-meaning strangers make it harder. Held outdoors at the Brant County SPCA back field.
Vet visits, nail trims, and grooming don't have to be stressful. This session teaches your dog to be comfortable with being touched, examined, and handled — using a cooperative approach that lets your dog participate instead of just enduring it. You'll practice mock vet exams, get an introduction to muzzle training, and learn how to read your dog's comfort level so you can go at their pace. Held outdoors at the Brant County SPCA back field.
Real World Ready | Impulse Control & Leave It $50.00
Dropped food on the sidewalk. A squirrel across the path. Another dog's toy. This session teaches your dog to resist temptation and make good choices. You'll build a reliable "leave it" from the ground up, practice it on the move with real distractions, and play impulse control games that make self-control fun. A must for dogs who grab first and think later. Held outdoors at the Brant County SPCA back field.
Real World Ready | Leash Manners & Dog-to-Dog Skills $50.00
Two skills, one session. First, you'll work on loose leash walking — no more being dragged down the street. Then we'll tackle one of the biggest challenges for dog owners: passing other dogs calmly on leash. You'll learn direction changes, how to read your dog's body language, and how to create enough distance to keep everyone comfortable. Held outdoors at the Brant County SPCA back field.
Real World Ready | Recall — Coming When Called $50.00
A solid recall can save your dog's life. This session builds a fast, enthusiastic recall that works even when your dog is distracted. You'll practice recall games, work through real distractions, and learn how to make coming to you the best thing that happens to your dog all day. We'll also introduce the concept of an emergency recall for those just-in-case moments. Held outdoors at the Brant County SPCA back field.
Your dog might know how to sit in the kitchen, but can they hold it at the park? This session takes the basics and makes them reliable in the real world. You'll work on longer stays, staying while you step away, and the place command — teaching your dog to go to a mat and settle there. Perfect for dogs who know the cues but fall apart when distractions show up. Held outdoors at the Brant County SPCA back field.
