It’s doesn’t really matter if the dog is friendly or not does it, when he’s...It’s doesn’t really matter if the dog is friendly or not does it, when he’s running at your on lead reactive or over excited Dobermann and I’m sure each & every single one of us have had our walks blighted by off lead dogs with no recall and other hazards too that are out of our own control.
Now whilst we can’t control what other irresponsible dog owners choose to do that puts us at risk, we absolutely can learn how to mitigate & lessen these risks by honing our own observational skills and having some simple training techniques & strategies in place with our own dog which can help us avoid or prevent such incidents occurring.
