This 6 week course taught by a CGC approved evaluator will prepare your pup for the AKC Canine Good Citizen Test. This course is appropriate for dogs of all breeds and ages over 1 (under 1 see AKC S.T.A.R Puppy Class). Upon passing, you can submit your Canine Good Citizen Title Application with AKC.

At the end of this course your instructor will administer the AKC S.T.A.R Puppy Test. Upon passing the test you'll get an application to send to AKC for enrollment in the program. AKC will send you a medal, a certificate, list your puppy in the AKC S.T.A.R puppy records and more.
Basic Obedience Class is perfect for dogs of any breed or age eager to start their journey toward becoming well-mannered adults. This class focuses on foundational skills and socialization to help your furry friend be a confident and obedient companion.
What You'll Learn:
Basic Commands: Sit, Stay, Come, Down, and Leave It
Leash Training: Walking politely on a leash, loose-leash walking techniques
Socialization: Positive interactions with other dogs and people, exposure to various environments and stimuli
If you're not sure where you should start with your dog, you can book a consultation with one of our trainers to help evaluate your dog and give you a training plan. If you book a private or join a group class, the consultation fee will be applied to your next class.
This comprehensive 3 hour course is designed to empower dog owners with the skills and knowledge needed to maintain their dogs at home effectively between grooming. You’ll learn essential grooming techniques, tools, and tips to keep your dog looking great and feeling healthy, as well as identifying skin/coat issues, parasites, and more. You will also learn about grooming styles and schedules that are appropriate for your pet. If you do not have the required material you may purchase a bundle at registration. Individual items will be available for purchase the day of your class. We do not supply any equipment except for tubs, towels, dryers, use of grooming tables, shampoo/conditioners. All items purchased in a grooming Bundle are yours to keep.

PET PARENTS ONLY! In this 1.5 hour session we will discuss the ins and outs of pet ownership including nutrition, healthcare, daily requirements, Training and Exercise Requirements, and more. At the end of the session we will have a Q&A for any questions that weren't answered during the class!
Our Puppy Obedience Class is perfect for young pups eager to start their journey toward becoming well-mannered adults. Tailored for puppies aged 12 weeks to 6 months, this class focuses on foundational skills and socialization to ensure your furry friend grows up to be a confident and obedient companion.

NO DOGS, THIS IS A HUMAN CLASS ONLY! This class is a lecture, demonstrations, and hands on training. Misty tailors her class to groomers and pet professionals, however this class is suitable for pet owners as well. Class includes a handbook, emergency muzzle, card and display certificate upon completion

If you think your pet is able to skip a level, you can schedule a test out to have your pet evaluated. If your pet passes the Test Out then you will be able to move on to the next level without taking the prerequisite course.
Youth Handlers ages 8-18 are welcome to participate. In this class, the youth handler and their pup will work on basic obedience principles together like loose leash walking, basic commands (sit, down, stay), how to properly socialize your pet and more. NO AGGRESSIVE DOGS. Your child MUST be able to safely handle your pet on a leash and follow directions.
