Play time:
Your puppy will have play time and enrichment one-on-one with a trainer. If appropriate, we may match your puppy with another for play sessions.
Homework:
After each session we will send home a list of behaviors we worked on so that you can continue to work on these behaviors at home. We encourage you to book private training sessions or classes to further reinforce these behaviors.
Vaccinations:
Puppies can start 7 days past their first round of vaccinations. We require vaccinations commensurate with age for all puppies. An up-to-date set of records from a licensed veterinarian that notes the dates the next set of vaccinations are due must be on file prior to each session.
Puppy Kindergarten is the best option for our baby puppies starting at 8-14 weeks!
Class will include socialization, with meeting new people and puppy play time. They'll also be introduced to new textures, objects, and other "novel" stuff, learning to be confident pups.
We'll also learn some fundamental manners skills, like Name, Sit, Down, Place, and Touch.
And we'll talk about solving common puppy problems!

-How to potty train effectively
-How to get puppies to listen, even with distractions!
-How to prevent future problems like resource guarding
-How to build calm behavior when greeting new people
Puppy Kindergarten guidelines:
-Puppies should be 8-14 weeks at the start of puppy class
-Puppies must be 7 days past their first set of vaccinations. You do not have to wait until your puppy’s vaccinations are complete. For more about this, please read the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior’s position statement on puppy socialization.
-Puppies must be healthy/noncontagious to attend class
-Class is on a rolling basis (you can start any week), and goes for 6 weeks. You can miss and make up a class if needed.
If your puppy is older than 14 weeks, check out our Puppy First Grade class! This is for all puppies roughly 4-6 months.

Does your dog ignore you when you call? Are distractions your dog's downfall? This class will teach the skills you need to call your dog to you in a variety of situations!
*This is a 4-week course over set dates. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer makeup classes for this course.
*NOTE: if your dog has fear-based aggression/reactivity toward strangers or dogs, or is extremely uncomfortable in new environments, this group class might not be the best place to start. We reserve the right to remove a dog from class if the situation seems detrimental/unsafe for that dog or other dogs/people in class, and encourage you to set up a private consultation if you're unsure whether class would be a good fit.

Senior dogs (and their humans!) deserve to have fun, exciting training classes built just for them. This class will include some basic manners skills, tricks, fitness, mobility, and lots and lots of enrichment and fun!
Notes:
Dogs must be able to work within a group class environment and seeing other dogs and people. Dogs with reactivity should not enter this class.
There's no specific age range for Senior Snoots: for some larger breeds they may start at 7/8 or littles might start at 12. It's up to you!

Separation Anxiety - Virtual Continuing Training (1 hour) $125.00
Remote, private training session for separation anxiety. Zoom consultation includes step-by-step, guided training and counseling; 4 continuing, customized, daily training plans; and a week of email and text support, to progress toward resolution of problem behaviors.
*Please note we do not expect this behavior issue to be resolved by the end of 1 or 2 weeks, as separation anxiety is complex, and it can take time to overcome the subjective triggers and fears that your dog may have.
