This is preschool for puppies! We are setting the groundwork to help your puppy grow into a dog who is comfortable and confident with the world around it! The main focus in this class will be socialization, not just with other dogs, people and kids, but with many things they may encounter in the world! It’s important from a young age to teach them that almost everything can be fun!We will also go through how to prevent all those pesky problem behaviors for occurring later in life. And of course, show you how to start you training journey to prepare for Pawsitive Behaviour Basics
Learn the basic fundamentals that will set you and your dog up for a lifetime of learning together. You will learn about how dogs learn, building relationships based on positive reinforcement training. How to teach your dog skills to become a well mannered dog. And of course how to get the whole family on board!
This a 1.5 hour, in home or virtual consultation is designed to deep dive into your concerns and set you up with the resources you need to move forward. It is also a time to set some goals and see where you are at in your training journey, recommend resources and enrichment as well as setting up a management and possibly a training plan that best fits your situation.
This option is best for the family that wants short-term support and includes:
- A pre-consultation review of your intake form and history.
- The Dogs & Storks or Dogs & Toddlers webinar plus relevant
handouts.
- 1 - 1.5 hour consultation via Zoom where we will assess your current
concerns and issues.
- Safety recommendations you can immediately implement as well as
tips and information relevant to your current situation.
- Two 30-minute Zoom follow-up sessions.
