When we take care of your pets, they have so much fun they won't even mind that you're away from them. Our pet sitting packages give you peace of mind that your 4 legged family members are taken care of, whether you're visiting the county, gone for the day, or away on a vacation.

If you have a puppy, senior or dog with separation anxiety that requires additional visits or care, we can tailor a package for them specifically.
One of our team members specializes in leash reactivity and anxious dogs, so please be honest about your dog's behaviours and preferences so we can match our team to your dog correctly.
Please note that we cannot guarantee exact visit times, we will build your dog's schedule with you however it may vary depending on other appointments we may have. Service hours not including overnight care is 7:30AM - 8PM.
All packages include a complimentary meet and greet at least 3 weeks prior to your booking.

PRIVATE DOG WALKING $35 (Prince Edward County Only)
We have limited spots available for leashed dog walking in Wellington and Picton areas. Walks are 45 minutes long, with a certified professional trainer. We do not visit off leash parks, your dog's outing with us will be tailored to your dog's preferences - which may include faster paced walking, a little fun low impact fitness conditioning or leisurely sniffing. We always reinforce manners and behaviours we like, so that your dog is practicing good manners. During summer weather we may need to do shortened outdoor times with extended indoor activities (such as fitness, teaching tricks, and other fun) during extreme heat. Not currently available on weekends.

PET SITTING IS AVAILABLE IN PRINCE EDWARD COUNTY.
OTHER AREAS MAY BE CONSIDERED WITH ADDITIONAL FEES (OUR TEAM HAS TRAVELLED PROVINCES TO PET SIT FOR OUR CLIENTS!)

STANDARD PET SITTING PACKAGE $75/Day (overnight not included)
We make sure your dog gets the attention they need, along with outings, exercise, mental stimulation and love while you're away.
Includes:

2 x 30 minute visits
1x 60 minute visit.

This might look like a morning walk + breakfast, then a longer mid day outing, play time and extra cuddles, followed by a a potty break, dinner and extra enrichment so they're ready to relax all evening. Visits are between 7AM & 8PM, overnight care is an add-on.

THE STAYCATION PACKAGE starts at $90/Day (overnight not included)
This is our most popular package, balancing your dog's day with attention, outings/adventure, and alone time rest in between our visits. This package includes:

2 x 1hr visits
1 x 90 min visit

You can tailor your dog's day based on their needs before we leave them for your night time caregiver. We go for walks, play, explore, with time for extra cuddles. Visits are between 7AM & 8PM, overnight care is an add-on.

OVERNIGHT CARE ADD ON $45/night, 9PM - 9AM.
ADDITIONAL DOG FEE $18/each per day.
SMALL CRITTER CARE ADD ON: $10/day.
STATUTORY & CIVIC HOLIDAYS: 30% surcharge applies.
TRAVEL FEES MAY APPLY DEPENDING ON YOUR LOCATION.

All prices are subject to HST. At time of booking (this is only a request), a deposit of 30% is required to hold your dates. Final payment is due 3 weeks before service date starts. Additional fees will be billed by invoice and payable upon receipt.

POLICIES & CANCELLATIONS

Training

No training is included in pet sitting services. Fearless Tails reserves the right to decline service based on a dog's behaviour, health or perceived risks to our team member's personal safety.

Pet Vaccinations

Dogs must be up to date on all require vaccinations. Proof of current vaccination will be required when completing new client intake forms.

Payment

We accept payments by credit card. Invoices must be paid in full prior to the start of services.

Long Weekend / Statutory Holidays - 30% surcharge.

Statutory holidays include: New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Civic Holiday, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Holiday cancellations are non-refundable.

Cancellations, Early and Late Returns

Cancellations for walks received less than 24 hours in advance will be billed at 50% of the rate, unless for health reasons.
Cancellations for pet sitting packages received less than 10 days in advance of the booking date, will result in a service fee to the customer of 50% of the total booked service value.
Early returns (you return home early with less than 10 Days notice): No Refund
Late returns for pet sitting hourly or overnight services is billed at $10 per 15 minute interval.

Refunds

Refunds are granted at the sole discretion of Fearless Tails in the case of a true emergency or health constraint.

Client Updates

We will provide you with updates on how your pet is doing a minimum of once per visit by email.

Parking

Parking must be provided, parking fees are the client's responsibility and charged at cost.

Key Policy

Keys must be picked up during initial consultation, if they can't be picked up at this time a key charge of $15 to pick up and/or drop off the keys is applied. If keys are kept on file for future services no fee is applied. Due to insurance regulations, we cannot leave keys behind in a property or a mailbox. When we are not en route to, or at your home, your keys are kept in lock box at Fearless Tails Training Academy.

Seasonal Weather Considerations
We reserve the right to adjust our services based on weather. In the summer and winter outdoor time may be adjusted for the welfare of your dog or our team members.
In the winter, clients are responsible for making sure that their walkways, driveways and sidewalks are cleared so that we can safely access your home and enter and exit with your dog. Slippery or Icy conditions may delay or shorten your service time. If your pathways are unsafe for us to pass, we will notify you so that you may have it addressed before your next service date.

Minimum Visit Requirements

Minimum of three visits for every 24 hours a dog is in our care. It is our policy that we do not leave a dog unattended for more than 6 hours while in our care.

Number of pets in household

Please contact us regarding additional pets and services before your service date.

Pet Transportation

If required to wait, charge of $20 for every 30 minutes is applied. If required for visits, parking fees are the client’s responsibility, charged at cost.

Service Area

Travel Fees may apply, outside our core service area of Prince Edward County.
