If you're new to Fitness and Movement puzzles - they are light, zero impact exercises designed to boost your dog’s body condition, physical awareness, confidence and mental resilience; while being incredibly fun for both you and your dog. Each class introduces a different and new level of challenge, and you’ll leave with tips to help replicate the games and progress at home between classes. Activities will be tailored to your dog's individual comfort level. Be sure to advise us of any mobility considerations for yourself or your dog when you register.
Each week we will combine any of the following into a brain and body workout for your adult dog, that is easy to replicate at home when your dog needs an extra outlet for their energy:
Canine fitness foundations
Parkour basics which you can take outside on your walks
Movement puzzles, teaching your dog to gradually solve obstacle puzzles
Tricks and more!
No training experience is required - all concepts will be taught in class! However, each class will build on concepts from the previous week's class.
*If you've already taken this class, we will coach you on slightly more challenging exercises.
Benefits from this class include - having so much fun; increased focus; and using their whole body, including those little muscles that get ignored on walks or runs.
Heads up: this is not an agility class, nor will it prepare you for agility or parkour. If your dog has any mobility issues, we can modify the exercises for their needs, please let us know when you fill out the registration form.
