The club is a group of like-minded individuals looking to participate in a fun activity with their dog(s). FLX Disc Dog will focus on the practice of organized disc sports. We will participate in leagues through UpDog Challenge and Toss-n-Fetch at the preference of the club members and guidance of the club captain, Jenine Wech. Club members pay a fee to cover the cost of supplies (field paint, markers, scoresheets), building/field rental, and club insurance. Disc club members commit to attending 70% of disc practices for the month and receive a discount on UpDog game fees. Membership involves helping with set up and clean up for disc events and practice as well as a participation in club event promotion and administration. We meet a minimum of 3 times per month, at a location determined by the club captain in consultation with club members. Plan to meet outdoors during late spring, summer, and early autumn. Outdoor events may be rescheduled depending on the weather. The FLX Dog indoor facility in Phelps NY will be used to host club practices and events during inclement weather in late autumn, winter, and early spring. Membership in the FLX Flyball Club indicates a commitment to attendance at 3 tournaments per season and participation in 80% of club practices, fund raisers and host tournament activities. The practice fee is reduced for members.
