Acknowledgement of Suitability, Commitment & Program Requirements

By submitting this application, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

You understand that not all dogs are suitable for Assistance Dog training. Suitability will be assessed by Flying Paws Dog Training, and progression into or continuation within the program is not guaranteed.
You acknowledge that Assistance Dog training is a long-term financial commitment. All costs associated with training, equipment, assessments, and program participation will be discussed prior to commencement, and you confirm that you are prepared to meet these ongoing commitments.
You understand that successful training requires active participation. You agree to engage in regular training, follow guidance provided by Flying Paws, and practice consistently between sessions.
You acknowledge that there may be a wait time of approximately 3–4 weeks for initial bookings, depending on availability.
You understand that if, at any stage, your dog is deemed unsuitable for Assistance Dog training, Flying Paws reserves the right to discontinue the program pathway and may recommend alternative training options. This decision is made in the best interests of the dog, handler, and public safety.
