Obedience Workshop - Foundations of Shaped Retrieval
Do you want a reliable, consistent dumbbell, bumper, or other retrieve item pick-up and return?...Do you want a reliable, consistent dumbbell, bumper, or other retrieve item pick-up and return? This workshop will put you on the path to success. You’ll learn the value of play, how to shape mouth interaction with retrieve items, techniques for building duration and a strong hold, recall skills, and how to use platforms to create stillness.
In this 2.5-hour workshop, you will receive supporting handouts and a retrieve dowel with string to use during the session. Demonstrations of all activities will be provided.
Please bring lots of small treats, a mat and items for your dog to retrieve.
