Temperament: All dogs must complete a temperament evaluation. HDDDD reserves the right to refuse any dog that might be a safety hazard to itself, other dogs, or staff. This includes, but not limited to, dogs that are aggressive, anti-social, toy, people or food aggressive, and anxious or physically ill. 

 

Altered: All dogs must spayed or neutered by the age of 18 months (about 1 and a half years). Dogs can impregnate or be impregnated prior to 18 months, therefore Hot Diggity Dog Doggie Daycare is not in any way responsible if your dog is impregnated or impregnates another dog. HDDDD will not admit any females during any part of their heat cycle or while pregnant.

 

Marking: Dogs that consistently mark indoors will wear protective garments (wrap)  while indoors only. 

 
Fleas: We do not treat the yard for fleas; therefore, we recommend that all dogs be treated with a flea preventative method. 

Age: Your pup must be at the age and have had the required 5 vaccines. If they weren't old enough for the vaccine, they aren't old enough for daycare. Approximately 4 months is when puppies are able to get the required vaccines. 

 

Collars, leashes, licenses: All dogs need to have a quick release collar (these will have plastic fasteners) and must be on a leash entering and exiting the premises. It is a good idea to have your dog properly licensed in accordance with your residence city requirements. 

 

Payment: Payment is required at or before time of service. We accept check, Visa, Master Card, American Express, Tap pay, Apple Pay, Google pay, and cash. Package purchases are non-refundable and expire 90 days after purchase.

 

Cancellation Policy: Cancellation of daycare reservations need to be made 24 hrs in advance. If not, a cancellation fee will be charged. Boarding reservations must be cancelled 72 hrs in advance or the boarding deposit will be forfeited. 

 

Late Policy/fees: Dogs must be picked up by 6:30 pm Mon-Fri. Dogs not picked up by our closing time will be charged $1.00 per minute up to 30 minutes then they will be considered an overnight guest and will be charged the appropriate boarding fee as well as the original daycare fee.  The dog will not be able to be picked up until the next opening day. 

 

Facility: HDDDD is a cage free facility. My dog may engage physically with another dog. Dogs will be exposed to a variety of toys and activities. I understand that my dog may experience muscle fatigue due to excessive play during the daycare and boarding period. 

 

Equipment and use of facility: If property is destroyed by your dog, you will be responsible for the price of the replacement. Toys and blankets are excluded from replacement charges. 

 

Special snacks and or treats: We do have plenty of snacks and treats; however, if your dog requires a specific brand or type you should bring it at the time of daycare or boarding labeled with your dog's name. 

 

Toys: We have plenty of toys. Please do not bring any toys from home.  They may get chewed up and possibly not returned. 

 

Medications: We can/will administer meds, an additional charge may be required. All containers must be marked with dog’s information and dosage. Medication forms must be filled out with clear specific directions.  

 

Behavior: Dogs will be routinely asked to “come”, “sit”, “stay”, “off”, etc. HDDDD uses treats, redirection, brief on leash time, time outs, and occasionally sound/vibration/shock collars to curb unwanted behavior such as barking, mounting, or overly rambunctious play. 

 

Boarding: Boarding is for current HDDDD clients, your pup will have needed to attend Evaluation before being considered for boarding. Packages cannot be used for boarding services.

 

 

All dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations: Bordetella (kennel cough), Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, and Lepto.  Distemper and Parvo will most likely show on your shot record as a combination of initials: DHPP, DA2PL, DHLPP.  (TITERS ARE NOT ACCEPTED.)  We recommend a yearly fecal float test for Giardia. 

All dogs must remain up to date on above vaccines. Owners must provide updated documentation before expiration dates. 

If, in my absence, my dog should become ill, injured, or need veterinary care, HDDDD has my permission to consult with my veterinarian. I realize HDDDD will make a reasonable effort to take my dog to my veterinarian or an emergency animal clinic. I understand that I am responsible for all veterinary costs, including the transportation of my pet to and from the veterinarian and/or emergency clinic. 

 

HDDDD makes every effort to ensure the safety of all the dogs on premise and if my dog should get loose or lost outside, I will not hold HDDDD responsible. 

 

I hereby declare that my dog is not known to be aggressive toward other dogs or people. If my dog is aggressive while at HDDDD, I agree to pay all medical bills associated with the incident including those related to injuries to my dog, injuries to other dogs resulting from the incident, and injuries to people or equipment related to the incident. 

 

I hereby declare that my dog has not been exposed to any communicable diseases within the last 30 days and is fully vaccinated in accordance with HDDDD policies. 

 

If I choose to leave items with HDDDD, IE: bed or blanket, I will properly identify them in writing or ID tag.  I understand that HDDDD cannot be held responsible for lost, dirty, damaged or destroyed belongings left at the facility. 

 

Although HDDDD screens all dogs for temperament, does not take aggressive dogs, supervises the dogs, and provides a healthy and safe environment for your dog, HDDDD cannot guarantee the behavior of any dog and consequently, cannot guarantee that your dog will not be exposed to the risk of injury.  By signing this agreement, I agree that I will not hold HDDDD responsible for injuries and or death to my dog that may occur in or out of the facility while in HDDDD care.  Furthermore, I understand that abrasions, nicks, or scratches found on my dog after daycare or boarding would be a normal consequence of play and interacting with other dogs and will not hold HDDDD liable for such wounds or injuries. 

 

By signing this contract, I agree not to hold Hot Diggity Dog Doggie Daycare liable or sue for any loss, injury, sickness, and or death to my dog(s) while in the care of HDDDD. 

I acknowledge that I understand and accept the terms and conditions set forth in this contract.
