We believe there is no "one size fits all" approach to training, so we customize our approach to fit your dog, your family & your lifestyle!
This class prepares owner and dog for the 10 Test Items of the AKC CGC Test AND the CGC A Test. This class meets weekly for 5 weeks. Prerequisite: both Beginner AND Level 2 class or equivalent skill level.
Testing is included on the last week.
This class is designed for pet dogs with little to no prior training. Two weeks prior to class start date, you will be given access to the beginner Obedience online course. Please look over the "pre class info" before your class starts.
This class meets at Dog Friendly local breweries and pubs in Salisbury. Class covers manners in a brewery setting: relaxing under tables, passing dogs and humans calmly,and maybe even a few fun bar tricks!
Dogs must have COMPLETED our Public Manners Class or have equivalent skill level. Current vaccines must be on file. Aggressive or reactive dogs are not suitable for this Drop In.

Primary focus for Winter/Spring 2024 will be Novice Rally Obedience foundational skills. Requests for additional topics are welcome! Classes are $10 each or a monthly membership is available with unlimited access for $25/month.
This class will provide mental and physical stimulation, appropriate to each dogs ability level, followed by practicing relaxation and settling exercises. 4 weeks, meets once a week for an hour. Members get a 15% discount on this class.
This class is a fun introduction to nosework. No skills required, just a sniffer that likes to sniff and an owner who wants to have fun with their dog. No reactive/aggressive dogs please. Class lasts 1.5 hours, meets once week for 6 weeks. Guest Instructor Kerry Caslow
This Class is for dogs who have completed beginner level classes or have equivalent skill level.
Level II introduces more complex obedience cues like Heel, Place, Settle, Touch and Greet. OBD II also works on proofing the Stay, Leave it and Come cues with heavier distraction. This class meets at a variety of locations depending on weather.

This class is for pups 10 weeks to 5 months old. Puppy Primer covers puppy topics like socialization, handling and grooming, nipping/chewing and house manners. It also teaches basic skills like sit, come, go to Kennel, and leash skills. The 4 week class costs $100. You will receive an invoice after you sign up. Structured Neutrality-a Program for Reactive dogs $325.00
This is a premium, small group program for teaching a dog to be calm and neutral in the presence of distractions like other dogs.
Does your dog turn into a barking, screaming, lunging, maniac when they see another dog? Struggle to relax after excitement? This is the class for them! Dogs will learn to relax in the presence of other dogs. This class will teach some basic obedience skills as well as addressing the reactivity. After this class, most dogs would have the skills to join a regular obedience class if needed. Equipment is INCLUDED in this class, you will not need to purchase additional equipment to participate. This class will have weekly mandatory homework assignments.
This class is *NOT* for dogs with extreme aggression, or a history of injuring other dogs/humans! Dogs with a bite history should not sign up for group classes. You will be contacted by Kat after sign up to ensure you are appropriate for this class. Invoice will not be issued until approval.
This 4 week class teaches some super fun skills for you and your best friend! Come learn to use markers, targeting and simple props to teach your dog some cool tricks! AKC Trick titles can be attained during this class, but titling isn't required to participate. After you sign up, watch for 2 important emails (check your spam folder!). You will get an informational email and an invoice for your class. Invoices should be paid by 2 weeks prior to class start date to save your pup's spot!
