Paws & Respect - Kids Guide to Greeting Dogs Safely

Paws & Respect Fundraiser: How to Speak Dog (Kids Edition) is a fun and educational workshop designed to teach kids how to safely and respectfully interact with dogs. Through real-life examples, interactive learning, and time with our trusted canine assistants, kids will learn how to read dog body language, greet politely, and recognize when a dog is saying “no thanks.” This 45–60 minute session is ideal for children ages 6–12 and includes a chance to observe our dogs in action — with optional calm greetings if the dogs are comfortable.
This special event is also a fundraiser in support of the Burlington Community Robotics Team, a local group close to our hearts (and led in part by some of our very own ICT kids!). All proceeds from the workshop will go directly to supporting their upcoming season.
