Does your dog have experience in dock diving and need to take it to the next level? If your dog is currently competing in dock diving and you’re wondering what the next step is or how to get better, then this workshop is for you! This workshop will help you and your dog to come together as a team and improve your Dock Diving skills. Come learn techniques to increase your dog’s confidence and performance, gain greater height, and jump farther. Our experienced instructor will help you with throwing techniques, problem-solving, and teach you skills to improve your dog’s Dock Diving performance.
PREREQUISITE: The dog is already jumping off the dock
PLEASE NOTE: Dogs will be crated during this workshop. Please prepare to bring a crate along with you.
Does your dog love the water? Love to play fetch and retrieve with you? Love jumping in the air for a toy? Then our beautiful, outdoor pool will be his/her new favorite place to learn the sport of Dock Diving! Our experienced instructor love helping dogs learn how enjoyable dock jumping is for daily exercise and fun! Dock diving is one of the most popular dog sports and a great way to enjoy the water with your dog, get outdoors, and enjoy the beautiful weather! If you want to take dock diving to the “next level” and enter competitions, our instructors will show you how! Come learn the many different techniques to train your dog to have confidence, perform various styles of jumping, gain greater height, and retrieve a toy in the water. ANY and ALL breeds and sizes may participate in this exhilarating activity! While you will not be in the pool, be prepared to get wet! Warning: Dock Diving is very addicting for both you and your dog!
PLEASE NOTE: One dog at a time will be in the pool - please be prepared to leave your dog in the vehicle between turns or bring a crate for them. Both treat and toy rewards are used extensively to reinforce dogs for desired behaviors.
