Media Agreement
The Client may submit homework video. Multiple clips may be submitted together if they are combined into one file. YouTube links, Google Forms submissions, Thinkific (learn.knowdogsallowed.com) course assignments, or BusyPaws portal file transfers may be assigned for various purposes.
The content of the video should be “work appropriate” and the Client must be fully clothed, top and bottom, or the video will not be reviewed. The video must not contain any minor children, sexual paraphernalia, or anything illegal in the Client’s or Trainer’s jurisdiction, including in the background. The Client should obscure or remove personal items such as addressed packages or prescription pill bottles. While video submissions are treated according to the signed Media Waiver and the Google terms of service and privacy policy, the Client agrees that Know Dogs Allowed Canine Enterprises cannot be held responsible for the content of the video or any consequences related to it, for example if there is a privacy breach.
The Client must not upload or transmit any malicious or damaging media, software, or other digital content to the Trainer or the Trainer’s website(s), Google Drive, email, computer, mobile devices, or any other property or digital locations belonging or assigned to the Trainer. The Client is responsible for compensating the Trainer for any damages, financial or otherwise, incurred as a result of the Client’s media, software, or other digital content.
The Trainer will review up to the included cumulative total of minutes of homework video per week. Unused video time expires at the end of the week. Video recordings submitted after the 28th of the month may be reviewed in the first week of the following month if the Client renews the package.
If the Client submits digital media, the Client will not receive any payment for the use of said media, now or in the future, regardless of which use(s) the Client permits. The Client must sign the attached Media Waiver before Know Dogs Allowed Canine Enterprises can accept any video submission for review or critique. The Client may voluntarily allow additional permissions for each video submission using the Google Form, such as instructional use or marketing purposes.
This means that the Trainer will use Client video, photo(s), or other media with permission, for the purposes allowed by the client.
