Group classes are offered as a complement to self-study and an affordable sampling of professional coaching. They do not replace the need for private consultation in complex cases. It is outside of the scope of a group class to offer detailed, personalized advice for behaviour modification.

Kate Gonzalez Woods (Train and Simple Dog Behaviour Consulting, formerly Know Dogs Allowed Canine Enterprises) endeavours to offer only sound, safe, and responsible training and training instructions. Train and Simple Dog Behaviour Consulting is released from liability for any unintentional or negligent errors, omissions, or incorrect assertions. Train and Simple Dog Behaviour Consulting explained and I understand the inherent risks of owning a dog, including but not limited to the risk of dog bites to myself or others. 

I represent and warrant that I have provided Train and Simple Dog Behaviour Consulting with full and complete, accurate information regarding any bite history and similar incidents or  hazardous tendencies of my dog, and that I will update that information if it changes. I understand that I am and will remain responsible for the actions of my dog at all times, and I hereby agree to indemnify, release, and hold harmless Train and Simple Dog Behaviour Consulting, of any and all claims, whether made by myself or any third party, of injury, expense, costs, or damages caused by my dog. I understand that the recommendation of any other product or service is not a guarantee of my satisfaction with that product or service. 

By my signature I recognize that there is there is no guaranteed way to prevent a living dog from biting. In choosing to pursue training to address my dog’s behavioural issue(s) I understand that I am incurring risk to myself and others and that it is my responsibility to use appropriate safety measures at all times, including muzzling and leashing my dog in the presence of other people and animals. I recognize that I am responsible for the actions of my dog at all times and I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Train and Simple Dog Behaviour Consulting of any and all claims of injury, expense, costs, or damages caused by the actions of my dog. I further recognize that legal information is not the same as legal advice and that it is my responsibility to seek professional legal advice regarding my situation if needed. 

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Kate Gonzalez Woods (Train and Simple Dog Behaviour Consulting), their affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Indemnified Parties”) from and against any and all losses, damages, liabilities, deficiencies, claims, actions, judgments, settlements, interest, awards, penalties, fines, costs, or expenses of whatever kind, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, fees and the costs of enforcing any right to indemnification under this agreement, and the cost of pursuing any insurance providers, incurred by the Indemnified Parties in connection with any claim arising out of or resulting from: 

I understand and agree to the service agreement described above. I have had an opportunity to ask questions about it, and they have been answered to my satisfaction. 

The Client may submit homework video. Multiple clips may be submitted together if they are combined into one file. YouTube links, Google Forms submissions, LearnWorlds, course assignments, or BusyPaws portal file transfers may be assigned for various purposes. 

To participate in group classes, the Client must be fully clothed, top and bottom. If the Client is not dressed appropriately for a group setting, they must turn off their camera. Otherwise, the Client may be removed from class and not permitted to return. The video must not contain any minor children, sexual paraphernalia, or anything illegal in the Client’s or Trainer’s jurisdiction, including in the background. The Client should obscure or remove personal items such as addressed packages or prescription pill bottles. The Client agrees that Train and Simple Dog Behaviour Consulting cannot be held responsible for the content of the video or any consequences related to it, for example if there is a privacy breach. 

Unless otherwise stated, the Client grants permission for Train and Simple Dog Behaviour Consulting (the Trainer) to record virtual lessons and to review submitted video (media), such as homework for classes or coaching packages. The Client agrees to waive any claim to compensation, now or in the future, and grants permission to Train and Simple Dog Behaviour Consulting (the Trainer) the irrevocable right to save, use, copy, edit, transmit, and distribute for the purposes of educating current and future students the Client’s streamed and recorded likeness and voice, including photographs and video, and those of the Client’s Dog(s) and of any minor children of the Client who may have been photographed or recorded, or whose photographs or recordings the Client submitted to Train and Simple Dog Behaviour Consulting. 

The Client acknowledges that digital media, once streamed or uploaded to the internet, cannot be retracted. This waiver releases Kate Gonzalez Woods (Train and Simple Dog Behaviour Consulting) from any and all claims arising from potential or actual financial gain or loss, legal culpability, emotional suffering, or physical or virtual damages associated with the production, transmission, storage, or distribution of the Client’s submitted digital media or its content, including their likeness.
