Course running is designed for dogs that already have the basic skills in agility, Dogs should be able turn left and right off the jump, enter the tunnel and have some contact obstacle foundations as well as weaves. In this series we will focus on planning your run, different handling strategies and create more forward focus to the obstacles.
This class is for those who have already completed a minimum of 1 set of Flyball classes with Niagara Dog Sports. Dogs are expected to have a basic understanding of the jumps and box work. Dogs in this stage are building up to full runs as well as learning to work with other dogs as a team.
This class is for dogs new to flyball. Dogs are taught the basics in box turns and taught how to commit to the flyball jumps. Dogs and handlers will be expected to work independently at times and to wait their turn when individual drills are being done. Each team will have a minimum 2 working session during the alotted class time.
