This 4-week program is designed specifically for children and their dogs to learn, grow, and have fun together. Classes meet once per week and focus on teaching kids how to safely handle, communicate with, and train their own dogs while building a stronger bond.
During the program, we'll work on:
• Leash walking
• Recall and focus
• Confidence building
• Dog body language
• Teamwork games and challenges
• Real-world manners
The program is open to children ages 8–15 who can safely handle their dog independently. Dogs must be friendly toward people and other dogs, and all participants will complete an evaluation before joining.

Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Testing
Our Canine Good Citizen (CGC) Testing evaluates your dog’s obedience, manners, and ability to remain calm and controlled in everyday situations based on the official American Kennel Club standards.
This service is **testing only** and does not include training or preparation sessions. Dogs will be evaluated on skills such as:
* Polite leash walking
* Sit & stay
* Coming when called
* Calm behavior around people and dogs
* Handling and grooming acceptance
* Supervised separation
* Overall public manners and stability
The testing fee is **$75** for dogs that are not currently participating in our training programs or group classes.
✅ **CGC Testing is complimentary for active ongoing clients enrolled in our group training classes.**
Please note that passing the evaluation is not guaranteed and depends on the dog meeting all required CGC standards during testing.
