It’s a 2 1/2 mile hike around the park following most of the horse trail. When we see distractions such as horses, other dogs or runners - all dogs are to move to the right side of the trail, sit and wait for the distraction to pass. I’m a positive dog trainer so there are no choke, prong, or shock collars allowed and all dogs must be on a standard leash in your control - no retractable leashes!! Bring treats and plenty of water, be aware everyone there is working on something with their dog. It is a judgement free zone where everyone is learning. Always ask before approaching others with your dog and when saying hello keep it short and sweet! There is more to Socializing than just playtime. There is no cost for Fit Dog Club. Follow along on social media, it will always be posted there (by Friday afternoon) in the stories whether or not Fit Dog Club is happening!
