A- Puppy Paw-ty Socialization Class (Paz North) $32.00
We provide safe and supervised socialization time by introducing your puppy to other puppies, people, a new environment, handling and other objects and obstacles. Our goal is to help your pup with confidence building, bite inhibition and learning social cue while giving you tips and tricks to best manage your pup. Open for all healthy pups under 5 months & less than 35lbs.
*Once you reserve a spot, we will text an invoice. Payment is due prior to class and you will not be confirmed for this date until it is paid for.
Requirements:

Must have first round of Distemper/Parvo vaccination
Bordetella recommended
These class will be hosted inside our clinic lobby and will be sanitized to be safe for puppies not finished with vaccines; however, they must have received their first distemper/ parvo. Classes will be focused on positive reinforcement training but they will also have some time to socialize with the other puppies off leash. Not every puppy will master the lesson in class but the goal is to teach you the skills to continue working while your puppy learns to focus with distractions. We aim to teach you how to best work with your dog so that you can grow your relationship based on mutual understanding and clear boundaries.///////

The basics! We will be discussing the basics of positive reinforcement training, how dogs learn, reward hierarchy, default behaviors and polite greetings. Even if your puppy knows these commands already, we can challenge you both to respond even with distractions!

Your pup will learn to stay or wait in a sit or down. We will work on building a stay with distractions, distance and duration. Great for setting boundaries, impulse control and of course, taking great pictures!

Learn a few different ways to get your dog to come when called + polite greetings, emergency recall, rules of recall and practice games to solidify a reliable recall.

This useful cue teaches pups to leave tempting objects alone. We also will review a "drop it" command as well. This lesson is a trainer favorite!
