Training Agreement
Training Results
Playful Pups Dog Training LLC (“the Company”) does not guarantee specific training results. Every dog learns at their own pace, and progress depends on many factors, including the dog’s temperament, environment, health, and the owner’s consistency. I understand and agree that I am solely responsible for my dog(s)’s behavior during and after participation in any training program.
Socialization & Assumption of Risk
I understand that this class focuses on socialization and includes supervised off-leash play. The Company takes reasonable precautions to create a safe and positive environment. However, I acknowledge that participation in puppy training and group puppy play involves inherent risks, including but not limited to scratches, cuts, or other injuries to puppies or people. I voluntarily assume all such risks on behalf of myself and my puppy(puppies).
Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by New York law, I agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Playful Pups Dog Training LLC, its owner, instructors, employees, assistants, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to participation in training services, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Owner Responsibility & Participation
I acknowledge that improvement in my dog(s)’s behavior requires regular practice and consistent reinforcement of the skills taught. I understand that failure to practice, inconsistent practice, or improper application of training techniques may slow progress or limit results. I accept responsibility for my dog(s)’s training outcomes.
Training Is a Team Effort
I understand that the Company’s services are designed to teach me how to work with and train my dog(s). I acknowledge that my cooperation, participation, and adherence to trainer instructions are essential for success.
Training Equipment
I acknowledge that I am responsible for purchasing any training equipment recommended by the trainer and for using it as instructed.
Attendance & Make-Up Policy
I understand that I am responsible for attending scheduled classes. Missed classes are not eligible for make-ups. If I wish to make up missed material, I may schedule a private one-hour session at the Company’s current rate.
Class Cancellations
If a class is canceled by the Company, it will be rescheduled at a date and time determined by the Company.
Withdrawal & Refund Policy
I understand that I may withdraw my dog(s) from training at any time. Once training has begun, all fees are non-refundable.
