Sentinel K9 is a veteran-owned dog training and boarding company serving Fort Worth, Argyle, and the greater DFW area. Founded by U.S. Army National Guard officer Chandler Hunt, we bring military discipline and a boutique, high-touch standard to every dog we train. Our structured board-and-train programs cover everything from puppy foundations to advanced off-leash obedience, behavior rehabilitation for aggression and reactivity, and individually task-trained service dogs for seizure response, mobility, autism, and PTSD support. Every program includes private owner lessons, daily updates, and a written progress report — because the goal isn't a trained dog for three weeks, it's a calm, reliable partner for life. With 500+ dogs trained and a 5-star reputation, we treat your dog like our own.

The program runs about nine weeks:
1. Foundation: after 3 days of rest to settle in, three weeks with us building obedience, advanced heel, recall, and the full command set: Sit, Stay, Down, Place, Center, Come/Here, Kennel, Leave It, and Drop It for dogs that retrieve.
2. At home: your dog comes home for two weeks, with two private lessons so the work holds in your real world.
3. Mastery: after 3 more days of rest, three final weeks covering off-leash heel, advanced recall, and proofing in public.
Eight private owner lessons are included, along with boarding and food for every night with us, daily updates during the weeks your dog is boarding, and lifetime access to our video course library. Socialization with people and dogs is part of the program, depending on temperament. Puppy Boot Camp graduates qualify for alumni pricing.
Every Elite enrollment starts with a consultation. You book your own lessons: select your facility at the top of this page, then scroll to the bottom. Vaccines required: DHP, Bordetella, and Rabies.
Off-leash reliability. Bulletproof obedience. A dog that's neutral, controlled, and dialed in across any environment — restaurants, parks, traffic, crowds, distractions, all of it.
This is the program for people who want their dog to be the most well-behaved one in the room. Every room.
