Sentinel K9 is a veteran-owned dog training and boarding company serving Fort Worth, Argyle, and the greater DFW area. Founded by U.S. Army National Guard officer Chandler Hunt, we bring military discipline and a boutique, high-touch standard to every dog we train. Our structured board-and-train programs cover everything from puppy foundations to advanced off-leash obedience, behavior rehabilitation for aggression and reactivity, and individually task-trained service dogs for seizure response, mobility, autism, and PTSD support. Every program includes private owner lessons, daily updates, and a written progress report — because the goal isn't a trained dog for three weeks, it's a calm, reliable partner for life. With 500+ dogs trained and a 5-star reputation, we treat your dog like our own.

It's for the stage of jumping, pulling, potty setbacks, crate fights, and selective listening. After a 3-day acclimation, your puppy trains with us every day in three phases: Foundation, Reinforcement, and Real-World Proofing in stores, parking lots, and busy public places.
Your puppy learns name recognition and focus, Sit, Down, Stay, Come, Heel and loose-leash walking, Place, impulse control, and a crate and potty routine that holds at home. You'll get daily updates while your puppy is with us, and a written report with next steps 7–10 days after graduation.
Results only last if you can run them, so four private owner lessons are included:
• leash and handling fundamentals
• an owner-led session
• a lesson in public at graduation
• a final lesson at your home
Lessons 1–3 are required. Graduates also get lifetime boarding at $35/night.
You book your own lessons: select your facility at the top of this page, then scroll to the bottom. Vaccines required: DHP, Bordetella, and Rabies.
