Sentinel K9 is a veteran-owned dog training and boarding company serving Fort Worth, Argyle, and the greater DFW area. Founded by U.S. Army National Guard officer Chandler Hunt, we bring military discipline and a boutique, high-touch standard to every dog we train. Our structured board-and-train programs cover everything from puppy foundations to advanced off-leash obedience, behavior rehabilitation for aggression and reactivity, and individually task-trained service dogs for seizure response, mobility, autism, and PTSD support. Every program includes private owner lessons, daily updates, and a written progress report — because the goal isn't a trained dog for three weeks, it's a calm, reliable partner for life. With 500+ dogs trained and a 5-star reputation, we treat your dog like our own.

After a 3-day acclimation, your dog trains with us for two weeks. Then they spend two weeks at home while you run our plan, and two final weeks back with us for heavy proofing around dogs, crowds, noise, and real public places.
It's the same foundation as 1+1 with twice the time, built to a higher graduation standard:
• a 90-second down-stay
• a 60-second loose-leash heel
• a 90-second sit-stay run by you
• composure in busy public places
• polished manners at home
Four private owner lessons are included, from leash and handling fundamentals at handoff to a graduation lesson in public and a final lesson at your home. For dogs 2 and older, 2+2 also meets the training prerequisite for our Service Dog program.
Every 2+2 enrollment starts with a consultation. You book your own lessons: select your facility at the top of this page, then scroll to the bottom. Vaccines required: DHP, Bordetella, and Rabies.
