A convenient maintenance service for owners who have a hard time keeping up with brushing at home or simply need a little help between grooming appointments. Includes a thorough brush-out and dry shampoo to freshen the coat, remove loose hair, and help prevent tangles and matting. Includes: Brush-out + dry shampoo and does not include: Bathing, haircutting, nail care, or dematting. Dogs with significant matting may require a grooming appointment instead.
Give your gentle giant the care they deserve with our deluxe grooming service. This full-service groom includes a deep-cleansing bath, thorough fluff dry, and expert nail trim to keep your pup clean, comfortable, and looking their best.
A 1–2 hour evaluation where your dog spends time with our team and guest dogs so we can assess temperament, social skills, comfort level, play style, and overall fit for our kennel-free daycare and boarding environment.
Our Meet & Greet is a relaxed 30–45 minute introduction where you and your dog(s) can meet us, explore the space, and discuss care needs. This visit helps ensure a comfortable fit for both pup and provider. A small fee applies, but it will be credited toward your first stay if booked within thirty days.
Want to save a trip? Combine your optional Meet & Greet with the Dog Evaluation. We will start with a 35–45 minute meet and greet. You’ll stay with your dog while we talk through their personality, routine, and care needs, and they get a chance to explore the space with you.
Afterward, you’ll leave your dog with us for approximately two hours. We’ll see how they settle into our home environment, interact with other dogs, respond to recall, and move with the group. This evaluation is required before boarding or daycare and helps us determine whether The Blue Hound is a good fit for your dog.
Please bring a collar and leash. We’ll share the evaluation result with you afterward. (Cost is per Dog)
Did you find a lost dog and want to scan for a microchip? We're happy to help! A quick scan that retrieves your dog’s chip number and registration details for accurate identification. Especially helpful when a lost dog is found, allowing us to quickly locate and contact the registered owner.
Showcase your dog’s personality with a dedicated portrait session. Drop your pup off at our home studio, where they can relax in a calm, low-stress environment while Kathryn Davenport Photography captures crisp, high-quality images. You’ll receive up to 15 edited digital portraits, including a mix of headshots and full-body shots. Your gallery will be delivered within two weeks of the shoot.
We provide safe, convenient transportation for your dog to and from their activities, helping them arrive happy and stress-free. All transportation requests must be pre-approved by staff. Please email or text us to arrange.
