Thank you for your interest in joining a Puppy Playgroup at The Dogborhood!
Our curated playgroups are designed to give puppies a solid foundation of socialization and to build a sense of community that includes local dogs and their humans.
While space is limited, we try our best to make room for all young puppies who qualify. In general, we're looking for puppies who:
- Are younger than 6 months old*
- Are current on parvo and rabies vaccines
- Have owners committed to or interested in positive training
*We sometimes make exceptions for older rescue pups who are newly adopted, so if you've recently gotten a rescue pup, submit your application and we'll be in touch.
What to Expect After You Apply
- After your application has been reviewed, you'll receive a link to schedule a 15-minute phone call with the owner/lead trainer, Virginia Feira. She'll call you at the scheduled time to discuss your application and answer any questions.
- If your application is accepted and space is available, you'll receive links to complete an Intake Form that asks you to upload vet records and sign the Puppy Playgroup Agreement.
- Once we've received your completed Intake Form and signed Puppy Playgroup Agreement, you'll be added to the following week's playgroup schedule and receive a link to the Weekly Schedule that gets updated every Sunday by 4PM.
