Are you interested in testing your dog's public access skills and having the opportunity to earn an AKC CGC title? Then this is for you! In honor of the opening of our new facility, we will be offering a free Canine Good Citizen Examination. Before registering, please read the AKC guidelines for the exam https://www.akc.org/products-services/training-programs/canine-good-citizen/. Any dog over the age of 6 months can take the CGC test. Your dog does not have to be AKC registered. Your dog must pass all 10 testing items (i.e., earn a 100%) on the exam to pass. Please note that you may not use treats during the exam. If your dog successfully completes 9/10 items, and if time allows, you will have one opportunity to redo the single testing item. Please note that this event is not appropriate for dogs with behavior concerns (i.e., fear, reactivity, aggression etc.).
