Our very popular Family Dog course is for dog owners who want a well-mannered companion at home and in the real world. This program focuses on practical, everyday skills your dog needs to thrive as a beloved family member—not just in class, but in life. Yes, we are focused on Both Ends of the Leash.
You and your dog will learn:
✅ Calm leash walking and polite heeling
✅ Rock-solid Recall—Come when called
✅ Sit, Down, and Stay with duration and distance, until released
✅ Tug and Drop for play and safety
✅ "Leave It" for real-world impulse control
✅ Practical training walks and household manners
✅ Reliable recalls—coming when called, even with distractions
✅ Calm greetings—no more jumping on guests
✅ Loose-leash walking—walks that are fun, not frustrating
Teaching you to teach your dog through positive, motivational, reward-based training. Homework and at-home practice will help reinforce each week’s learning, ensuring success inside and outside the classroom.
