Instead of freezing, exploding, or panicking, dogs learn a clear Flight Cue that helps them disengage and return to a state where learning and regulation are possible. What we’ll cover: Stress and its role in behavior and learning Teaching and strengthening a reliable Flight Cue How to help dogs choose distance over conflict or overwhelm Applying the skill in real-world situations Round-robin style practice (similar to our Recall class format) Handler mechanics, timing, and reinforcement strategies This class is ideal for dogs who struggle with big feelings around triggers, excitement, or environmental stressors—and for handlers who want practical, humane tools to support their dog’s emotional safety.
