Working towards the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title is a great starting point for more advanced training opportunities such as therapy dog, dog sports, or advanced life skills. In the CGC test, your dog must pass ten mini-tests including: calmly greeting a stranger, loose leash walking with distractions, staying in place, coming when called, and being left with a new person. This class is designed to prepare students for the official AKC CGC Test, which is held at our facility on a quarterly basis. When you are ready to take the test, contact us to arrange an assessment. ***This class is rolling admission, which means you can start attending class at any time. No need to wait! Can’t attend six weeks consecutively? You’ll have ten weeks to attend your six sessions. If you know you are going to miss a week you can arrange another date to attend with your instructor after signing up.
