All Day Puppy School is designed for healthy puppies and adolescent dogs from 8 weeks...All Day Puppy School is designed for healthy puppies and adolescent dogs from 8 weeks old up to under 18 months of age. This program gives young dogs a full day of force free, science based, positive reinforcement training, thoughtful socialization, enrichment, rest, and real world skill building.
Throughout the day, students practice age appropriate skills such as leash manners, recall, place and settle work, calm greetings, confidence with new sights and sounds, cooperative care foundations, crate and rest routines, and safe social skills with people and other dogs. Every part of the day is structured to help puppies grow into calm, confident, well mannered family dogs that can handle everyday life at home and out in the world.
Puppies must be healthy and meet our current vaccine and wellness requirements before attending. Our goal is to support families through each stage of puppyhood with clear communication, positive learning experiences, and practical training that is easy to continue at home.
When your puppy hits Adolescence, a lot fo new problems can surface, and it can be a little overwhelming if not defeating. Continued training, socialization (done right) and management can help keep your dog on track. In no time, your dog will learn to walk calmly with you to the farmers market, lounge peacefully beside your chair at an outdoor restaurant, and greet your friends politely with all four paws on the ground!
