Settle and Chill Topic Class
60-minute in-person Topic Class. Does your dog know the basics, but needs some polishing? Maybe...60-minute in-person Topic Class. Does your dog know the basics, but needs some polishing? Maybe you would like to work on your dog’s confidence or the number of distractions your dog can handle? Or is your dog the class clown and needs to learn to settle down?
Our Settle & Chill class is for the dog that already knows the basics but needs to work on team building, foundation skills, distance work, and distraction. Students in this class will work on strengthening their dog’s focus, perfecting understanding, increasing self-control, and teaching a dog to self-soothe.
Settle & Chill is a 3 lesson “series” class scheduled 1 day a week over a 3-week period.
Mat training, also known as place training or stationing, can be used to teach dogs:
- not to counter surf
- not to jump on guests
- not to beg while we eat at the table
- how to wait and/or stay
- how to settle or relax at home and in public
