Scent Detection (Level 2)
This class is a continuation of Fun with Scent Detection Level 1. Pre-requisite for this...This class is a continuation of Fun with Scent Detection Level 1. Pre-requisite for this class is Fun with Scent Detection Level 1 class. We will continue on building on using your dogs’ natural ability to sniff. Teamwork makes this a fun activity for you and your dog. Although there will be multiple teams in the class, only one team searches at a time. In this Level of class, we will continue using different types of containers and searches for the scent will be at various heights. Scent work requires a lot of concentration which is why dogs get tired more easily. If your dog still loves to use their nose to sniff and you like to interact with your dog, you will both enjoy these classes. While in class, dogs are kept on their non-retractable leash and take turns locating a scent. Level 2 class uses the essential oil scent Pine.
